Gingerbread HOuse

Gingerbread house time! Dustin is such a great dad...he was so excited when he got home from work to decorate the gingerbread house! The kids were so excited! Yes, Kylie is in her swimsuit...don't ask it is a phase of hers right now! :) Carson is in a white t-shirt and Kate is in her undies....well just forget all of that and see the bonding that is occuring! :) Too cute!

sledding

Carson's 1st sledding experience! He was so so funny because he wouldn't get out of his sled! the whole 30 mins. he just sat in his sled and I had to pull him up the hill and push him down! He was so funny! He isn't big cold weather boy....he must take after me! :) The girls love the snow and cold weather and Dustin doesn't mind it....but it seems that Carsy and I are miserable! :) However, we did have a fun day sledding! Tom. we are going skating so I will post those soon!!!

Carson loves to hide in the kitchen cabinets...there are a few empty ones and some of them are the "secret hideout" so they have blankets and they hide in them....well, it is so sfunny because sometimes you can't even find where they are! My friend Juli tagged me...so here are 7 things you may not know about me:

1. I dislike sweets...I could eat a bag of potato chips in record time. I have never been one to like chocolate, candy, cake etc. I will eat a piece here and there but I definitely like salty foods better and crave salty foods. It is a very strange thing and when I was little I actually made up that I was allergic to chocolate to my friends so everyone wouldn't call me "weird for not liking chocolate" lol! French fries and potato chips are definitely my weakness.

2. I love Spain. I loved it there and if I didn't have the kids and Dustin I would be living there right now. I always thought I would live in another country...but then we unexpectedly had twins and our lives changed!!!!! Dustin and I were actually looking at studio apartments in different states the night before we found out that we were pregnant. I would have graduated within a semster and summer school and he would be done and we were planning on moving...but that wasn't the plan that God had for us...I think it is cute because Dustin says that the girls were planned and that God planned them and maybe if we would have moved into an apt. out of state we would have had something bad happen. He's so cute.

3. I had 4 speeding tickets by the time I was 19. I haven't gotten any since then...but I was on quite a streak there! My poor parents had to pay my insurance and I am sure they were pretty annoyed with my lead foot! Now, I drive a mini van and don't think I could speed in it even if I tried!!! hahaha!

4. I wanted to be a nurse. I went to college with the intention of becoming an RN. I took an anatomy class and a physiology class and hated both and I dropped out of physiology and I got a C in anatomy. We dissected a cat in anatomy and I almost lost it. I absolutely hated it. I then wanted to do something with sociology or psych and then I wanted to be a Spanish teacher and then I finally decided International Relations and Spanish and graduated and now I am a stay at home mom! LOL! :) :)

5. I always wanted to have four boys....Dustin wanted one girl and one boy and we have twin girls and a boy! LOL! So, I guess neither of us won! haha! I couldn't be happier with the three little ones that we have! :)

6. Dustin and I since we have lived together have lived in 7 houses in 4 years!!!! We were living in an apt. in St.Cloud when we found out we were pregnant and then we leased out our apt. and moved back in with my parents so Dustin could work and so we would have more room for the twins. We also wanted to be close to family for help with the twins! Sure glad we did that! Then we moved into our first real house in Shakopee..it was a small cute house and it was an old house and we re did the whole inside....then we moved to Texas and had such a nice house there...I loved that house!...then we moved in with friends here in MN, then in with Dustin's parents, and then our 7th house is here in New Prague! I love this house, but I wish it was closer to the cities. Most people at our age have maybe one house...not us though! LOL! Oh man Dustin and I just enjoy change and take risks I guess! But, I don' want to move for awhile now! :)

7. I love to write. I always loved English class. I love writing papers. I have roughly written a few books...children books...I would love to write a childrens book and have my mom be the illustrator...one day maybe!!!! I used to write Dustin's papers for him and I enjoyed it. I like to write papers and I enjoy getting out my ideas. It makes me feel better and I enjoy being creative.

Halloween 2008!!!

We had a wonderful Halloween! Kate was a puppy, Kylie was a lion, and Carson was a giraffe. The girls picked what they wanted to be this Halloween...and for the first time they were not matching! Carson was a cute giraffe! It was a fun night and the kids loved "trick or treating"! :)

Funny stories!

This morning Kate said "Water, Mom!!" and Kylie looked at her and said "Kate, you need to say May I have some water please, mom" "You have to use your manners."

Kate cracks me up...when I pick her up from pre school she always says "Morgan/Sophia/Kieren/Maggie/Lauren are comming over to our house for dinner tonight and to play with me!" Our neighbor said she over heard Kate saying "Lauren, my mom said it is okay for you to come over later...and Lauren said oh great! I will come over! LOL!!! 3 year olds are oh so cute!!!

This afternoon Kieren, our neighbor friend said Carson, stop!!! and Kate replied with "He is just a little wild man." "He is my little brother." "He is nice, Kieren!"

Kylie just about 1 min. ago said "Mom, you need to move the computer on the side." "I need to go in your lap." That is my place."

oh I can't wait for Carsy to start talking! LOL!!! :) :)

Funny Kate!

Oh my Kate is oh so funny! So, she was going potty and it had been a few minutes so I went to check on her and this is what I came across! LOL!!! She was "going pee pee and reading her magazine!" "Mom, will you please shut the door I am reading and I need my privacy" I was told! She is just a little riot!

Anniversary comming up!

So, I thought this was soooo cute.....Dustin and I will be married for 3 years on the 22nd! Isn't that crazy? I can't believe it! I truly could not be happier! I love him so much! Through these moves and various obstacles with the kids we have became extremely close! He definitely is my best friend!!!............................. so, he planned for this Sat. us to celebrate our anniversary since our real one is on Wed. so he said we should celebrate it on Saturday because we got married on a Saturday and we are going downtown Mpls. which we love! We both are city people...lol you wouldn't know by us living in New Prague! LOL! But we want to move into the cities in a few years.......so we are going out to eat to anywhere I choose in Mpls. and then to the U of M vs St. Cloud State hockey game! I graduated from St. Cloud State and it is a big rivalry..it is suppose to be a great game! I am sooooo excited! Then, we are going out for a few drinks afterwards...I am so excited! The kids will be in great hands and we can have a night out! I can't wait to spend the night with the best hubby in the world!!! I love him sooo much!!!!

So Carson is trying to get on my back, Kate thinks it is funny to shut her eyes, and Kylie is trying to smile! Oh man! What a funny group!!!! Kate said to me today that "boys are gross, Mom. I do not like them." LOL! Kylie said to me yesterday "Mom, I have a lot of friends at pre school!" They are so funny! Their coments make me laugh a loud all day long! Carson decided to jump head first off of the couch on Monday! He has scratch marks all over his face.....all anyone asks me is oh my, what happened to him? LOL! He is a typical boy who is fearless I guess!!! Oh man, the life of a Griswald! LOL!!!! Clark come home from work before Ellen goes crazy!!! hahaha!!!!!

I'm back!!! We finally got internet again!! yeah!!! So, I am planning on updating this more often!!!! So, we went to the Wild game last Wed. and had a blast!!! Dustin loves hockey so it was a great night out. We also on Saturday went to Dustin's grandparents and took some family pictures and Dustin's aunt took a nice family picture of us in his grandparent's gazebo! Last night we took some picts of us just playing with the kids....we had tacos and played in the toyroom with the kids and then we had the kids in bed and we watched Desperate Housewives!! I also took some picts of the girls during their first couple days of pre-school!

Fall Time

Today we went and picked pumpkins! The girls were so excited! Carson just kept screaming and throwing pumpkins everywhere...he shortened our trip! :) Happy Fall to everyone! :)

Pre-School Orientation!

Okay, so I haven't written on here in forever! We don't have internet yet...but I am stealing the neighbor's right now! So, we are all unpacked and everything is going great! It is so wonderful to have our own place again. I love our house and our neighbors are all super nice! Things are going great. Today Dustin and I started a diet and we are going to stick to it! I need to lose 20-30 lbs forsure!!! Alright, so today was the girls pre-school orientation. They were so excited. Kate is "excited to make friends" Kylie is "excited to play and do fun things." Dustin took them to their orientation today because on Thurs. he can't make their 1st day...he has a meeting. Today they looked like such big girls! It was so cute! I have been teary eyed all morning!!!! I love their pre school program. It is so hands on and I love the girls teacher. She is so sweet!!! So here are picts of today. I wanted to go so bad but siblings were not supposed to go and I figured people would get mad because Carson would be screaming and kicking and going crazy! I just know it!!!! He would take away everyone's attention...not intentionally of course!!! So, here are picts. I will post some on Thurs. also when it is offcially their first day...I am sure I will be crying all morning on Thurs. LOL!!! :)

Girls Weekend!

So, this weekend my sister, my mom and I went up north to Nisswa. It was so fun. We stayed at Breezy Point and just relaxed. We went out to eat, did mini golfing, and went shopping and even watched Elvis! It was so fun and relaxing!!! Julia is such a goof ball! She thinks she is funny in the picts.!
